Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about planning dental treatment in Thailand, from costs and safety to travel, recovery, and aftercare.

Getting Started

We are a patient coordination service that connects international patients with accredited dental clinics and experienced dentists in Thailand. We match you with the right clinic for your treatment, gather transparent pricing, and coordinate the key steps from your first enquiry to your aftercare back home.

Yes, our service is completely free to patients. Our partner clinics pay us a coordination fee when they accept a patient we refer. You pay the clinic's own price, and we never add anything to your bill.

Tell us what you are considering by email, phone, or our enquiry form, and share any X-rays or photos if you have them. We will discuss your needs, answer your questions, and put together a personalised plan with clinic options and real pricing. There is no cost and no obligation.

Many patients move from first enquiry to treatment within a few weeks. The main factors are your own availability, any records or scans needed beforehand, and the clinic's schedule. There are no long waiting lists.

Yes. We arrange a free video consultation where you can share X-rays or photos, discuss your options, and receive a preliminary treatment plan, all before you book flights or commit to anything.

Safety & Hygiene

Yes. Thailand's leading dental clinics hold international accreditation and follow strict sterilisation protocols that meet or exceed Western standards. Many use digital scanners and 3D imaging for precise work, and our partner dentists routinely treat international patients.

Our partner clinics follow rigorous infection control and sterilisation procedures, using single-use items where appropriate and modern equipment. Accredited clinics are audited against recognised international standards for safety and quality.

The dentists we work with are qualified specialists in their fields, and many have trained or practised internationally. We share each clinic's credentials and relevant experience so you can review them before deciding.

Your clinic has clear protocols for managing any issue, and your dentist remains responsible for your care. If a concern arises after you return home, we help arrange a video review with your treating dentist and, where needed, coordinate a check-up with a local practitioner.

Costs & Payment

Patients typically save between 50 and 77 percent compared to prices in the UK, US, or Australia, depending on the treatment. Lower operating costs, not lower standards, are the reason Thai clinics can charge less.

A typical quote covers the dentist's fees, materials such as implants or crowns, and the follow-up appointments that form part of your treatment. We set out exactly what is and is not included before you commit, so you can compare quotes with confidence.

No. Your quote reflects the clinic's own pricing. We explain any costs that sit outside it, such as flights, accommodation, or optional extras, before you make any decisions.

You pay the clinic directly, usually in stages as your treatment progresses. We help coordinate secure payment and give you a full cost breakdown in advance. You never pay us for our service.

Yes. We provide itemised written quotes with clinic options, pricing, the number of visits, and how long each stay will take, so you can weigh everything up. Asking for a quote places you under no obligation.

Treatments & Results

We coordinate a full range of dental care, including implants and All-on-4, veneers and other cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, oral surgery, and orthodontics, as well as treatment packages. If you are unsure whether your treatment is available, just ask.

Often, yes. Many patients combine treatments such as whitening, veneers, and crowns in a single visit where it is clinically appropriate. Your dentist will confirm what can be done together and plan your visits accordingly.

Yes. Many of our partner dentists handle revision and replacement work, from failed crowns to old implants. Sharing details and any records or X-rays from your previous treatment helps us match you with the right clinic.

Where available, we can share before-and-after examples and discuss digital smile design so you can picture the result. Your consultation is also the right time to talk through what is realistically achievable for your case.

Travel & Logistics

It depends on the treatment. Veneers and crowns usually take around 5 to 7 days in a single trip, while whitening or simple extractions can be done in 2 to 3 days. We confirm the recommended stay as part of your plan.

Usually, yes. Implants typically involve two visits: the first to place the implant, around 3 to 5 days, and a return trip 3 to 6 months later, once the implant has healed, for the permanent crown, around 3 to 4 days. Your dentist will confirm the timeline for your case.

Many nationalities can enter Thailand without a visa for short stays, which covers most dental trips. For longer treatment a different option may apply, and we will advise you on what suits your situation.

Yes. We help coordinate airport transfers and comfortable accommodation near your clinic, along with local transport, so the practical side of your trip is handled.

Of course. Many patients travel with a partner or friend, and we can include an extra traveller in your accommodation and logistics.

Before Your Treatment

Your dentist reviews your dental history, examines your teeth, often takes scans or X-rays, and confirms the treatment plan. This is your chance to ask questions and agree the approach before any work begins.

If you have recent X-rays or photos, sharing them helps your dentist assess your case and prepare a more accurate plan and quote before you arrive. If you do not have them, the clinic can take new ones on arrival.

It is not required, but a recent check-up or cleaning at home can help, especially for implants or extensive work. Treating any active infection or gum disease beforehand supports a smoother result.

Recovery & Aftercare

Most dental treatment involves little downtime, though procedures such as implants or oral surgery need a short healing period. Your dentist will explain what to expect and provide clear aftercare instructions before you fly home.

For most dental work you can fly within a day or two. After oral surgery or implant placement your dentist will advise a suitable gap before flying. We plan your stay around their guidance.

Your dentist provides a detailed aftercare plan, and we arrange a remote review if anything feels off. Where needed, we help coordinate a follow-up with a local practitioner near you.

Communication & Support

Yes. Our partner clinics have international patient teams, and the dentists and coordinators you deal with speak English. We can also arrange a video consultation so you can talk everything through beforehand.

Yes. You are assigned one dedicated coordinator who is your single point of contact from your first enquiry through to your aftercare, so you always know who to reach.

Always. Your enquiry and personal details are handled with full discretion and shared only with the clinics and dentists directly involved in your care, and only with your consent.
