Bangkok Hospital Dental Center
A hospital dental centre with a 120-strong team, digital CAD/CAM lab, 3D CT scanning and published prices

Last reviewed 12 October 2026 · How we evaluate
Bangkok Hospital Dental Center is the rare hospital dental department that publishes its prices. It has its own building at Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, specialists across every main field of dentistry, 3D CT scanning and a digital lab for same-visit ceramic restorations, and it has been launched as Thailand's first Straumann Center of Dental Education.

Our Assessment of Bangkok Hospital Dental Center
Bangkok Hospital Dental Center combines what patients usually have to choose between: the medical back-up of a large private hospital and the equipment of a modern dental centre. 3D cone beam CT for implant planning, intraoral scanning and CAD/CAM milling are all on site, and the named specialists include American and German board-certified surgeons and an American Board-certified orthodontist. Unusually for a hospital, it publishes price ranges for almost every treatment.
The trade-off is price. Its published implant prices, from about 94,000 baht for a Straumann implant with crown, sit at the top of the Bangkok market, and many smaller clinics charge less for the same brands. The ranges are wide, so your final quote depends on your case. The hospital is also in Huai Khwang rather than on Sukhumvit, so most visitors arrive by taxi or the hospital shuttle.
For implant and restorative work where you want hospital back-up and digital planning, and want to see prices before you travel, it is one of the most transparent choices in Thailand.
Who Bangkok Hospital Dental Center Is Best For

Accreditations, Verified
The Dental Center works inside Bangkok Hospital Headquarters and under its accreditations. We checked the hospital's published accreditation pages and note where we could not confirm the current award with the issuing body.
JCI Accredited (hospital)
Joint Commission International. The Dental Center is part of Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, whose accreditation page records a 6th consecutive JCI accreditation for February 2023 to February 2026, and the Dental Center's own page says it has achieved JCI accreditation standards. JCI accredits the hospital as a whole. We could not retrieve the JCI online directory or find a published notice of the 2026 renewal, so current status rests on the hospital's own statements.
See the sourceHA Thailand (hospital)
Hospital Accreditation from Thailand's Healthcare Accreditation Institute. The hospital says it was among the first private hospitals to receive HA; its page does not state the current level or dates.
See the sourceStraumann Center of Dental Education
The Dental Center was launched as a Straumann Center of Dental Education (CoDE), the first in Thailand and the 60th in Straumann's worldwide network, running live-surgery and hands-on implant courses for dentists. This is a training partnership with an implant manufacturer, not a quality accreditation.

The hospital's dentist profiles list Dental Council of Thailand specialty certification and, for some dentists, American or German board certification.

Bangkok Hospital publishes price ranges for most dental treatments, valid to 31 December 2026, which is rare for a hospital. Common Questions About Bangkok Hospital Dental Center
What patients typically want to know before choosing this hospital
How We Evaluated Bangkok Hospital Dental Center
Our hospital profiles are independently researched by our editorial team. No clinic can pay to be listed here, ranked higher or reviewed favourably. Here is what we assessed for Bangkok Hospital Dental Center. Our checks are desk-based, verified against the issuing bodies' registers and the hospital's own published materials rather than a hospital-arranged visit. Read the full methodology.
We confirmed each accreditation directly with the issuing bodies and against published records, rather than relying on marketing claims, so the badges you see are real.
We checked the qualifications of the clinicians who would treat you and the depth of the specialist teams, technology and inpatient support standing behind them.
We assessed whether there is a genuine international patient service — multilingual staff, visa help and structured coordination — rather than just a translated website.
We looked for documented care plans, follow-up scheduling and clear channels, so you can still reach your care team once you have flown home.
We evaluated whether estimates are itemised and given in writing upfront, covering treatment, stay and follow-up, rather than arriving as one opaque figure.
We reviewed patient reports across multiple independent sources, looking for consistent themes in satisfaction, complaints and treatment outcomes.
How we make money
Hospitals cannot pay for placement, ranking or a favourable review anywhere on this site. We earn a coordination fee from the hospital only when you choose to book through us, and it never changes your price. That conflict is why we publish our evaluation criteria and sources on every profile, and link accreditations to the issuing bodies.
If you believe any information on this profile is inaccurate or outdated, please contact our editorial team and we will check it against the source.
